We calculate the position of more than 5,000 stars from the European Space Agency's Hipparcos catalogue, plus the Moon (in its real phase) and planets, for the exact coordinates, date and local time you choose, time zone and daylight saving included. It's the sky you would have seen looking straight up.
Pick the closest hour you remember. The sky turns slowly, so a guess within an hour or two still gives a faithful picture of that night. 22:00 is a lovely default for an evening sky.
Prints are made on heavyweight 250 gsm archival matte paper with fade-resistant inks. Framed prints come in a solid wooden frame (black, white or natural oak) with a shatterproof plexiglass front. The print and frame arrive together, ready for you to assemble and hang.
Each print is made to order by a partner studio close to the delivery address, usually within 2 to 5 business days, then shipped with tracking. Most orders arrive within 3 to 8 business days. Shipping is always free.
